Glenda Jewel (Tackett) Stumbo

   Glenda Jewel Stumbo, age 73, of Harold, KY, widow of Ravin Stumbo passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 12, 1949 in Grethel, KY, a daughter of the late Curt and Marie Branham Tackett. She was a member of the Pilgrims Home Old Regular Baptist Church, and was a retired bookeeper, and a clerk for Watsons and JC Penney department stores.

   She is survived by her son; Jeffery Curtis (Beverly) Stumbo, Richmond, KY, one daughter; Anitra Michelle Stumbo, Harold, KY, two brothers; Curtis Marvin(Donna) Tackett, Harold, KY, John Glen (Betty) Tackett, Harold, KY, one sister; Danita Gail (Daryl) Spears, Harold, KY, four grandchildren; Nicholas, Megan, Jacob, Sophia Stumbo, four great-grandchildren; Stephney, Rachel, Jiraiya, Noah.

   In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Lary Douglas Tackett and sister in law Flora Tackett, one sister Christine Tackett.

   Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with the Old Regular Baptist ministers and Dr. CB Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Curt Tackett Cemetery, Grethel, KY, Visitation will be Friday at 6:00 pm, and all day Saturday, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
