Glenda Gay (McCown) Fraley

Glenda Gay McCown Fraley, age 72, of Prestonsburg, KY, wife of Jake Fraley, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born November 13, 1949 in Bypro, KY, a daughter of the late Lee and Blanche Little McCown.  She was a member of the Victorious Faith Church, Prestonsburg, KY, a retired school teacher, a member of the KY Retired Teachers Association and the Floyd County Retired Teachers Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter; Sara Fraley (Jared) Lyon, Prestonsburg, KY, one sister; Carol McCown Tackett, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, two grandchildren; Grace Nicole and Victoria Faith Lyon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; Lowell McCown and brother-in-law; Ron Tackett.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Victorious Faith Church, 114 Rising Son Ln., Prestonsburg, KY, at 1:00 p.m., with Jason Adair officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
