Gladys (Robertson) Boling, 99, formerly of Lackey, Ky., died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Goffrey and Paula Gayheart of Winchester, Ky.

Born on Nov. 17, 1924, in Lackey, she was a daughter of the late Branch Robertson and May Reed Robertson.

Gladys was postmaster of Lackey Post Office from October 1966 to April 2003, when she retired.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Boling; son, Joey Boling; grandson, Brandon Boling;  four brothers, Denver (Helen) Robertson, Jan (Shirley) Robertson, Reed (Kathryn) Robertson and Stan Robertson; and five sisters, Bernice (Norman) Hayes, America (Mitchell) Nichols, Martha (Clyde) Lee, Joann (Robert "Lefty") Knowles and Lillian Robertson.

In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by three sisters, Boots (Douglas) Daniels, Yvonne (Woodrow) Anderson and Mary Lou (Billy Joe) Vanhoose, all of Waverly, Ohio; three grandchildren, Cindy (Brian) Jones of Little Rock, Ark., Mary Jane Gayheart and her fiance Drew Combs of Winchester, Sabrina McCoy of Little Rock, and great-grandson, Trenton Boling of Wayland, Ky.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, 331 KY Route 122, Martin, Ky., with Kevin Jett officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY.

The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
