Gilford Smith

Gilford Smith, age 90, of Langley, KY husband of Wilma Faye Hall Smith, died Friday, June 26, 2026 at his residence. He was born March 6, 1936 in Topmost, KY a son of the late Sam and Avie Isaac Smith. Gilford was a retired welder.

    He is survived by two sons, Rodney (Donna Marie) Smith, Woodhaven, MI, Rickey (Julie Mae) Smith, Minnie, KY, and two grandchildren; Rodney Gilford Smith and Kathleen Marie Smith.

   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Gregory and Jeffrey Lynn Smith, one daughter; Melissa Ann Smith, and one brother; Elva Smith.

   Funeral service for Gilford Smith will be conducted Monday, June 29, 2026 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Dr. C B Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckingham Cemetery, Bevinsville, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Saturday and 10 AM Sunday at Hall Funeral Home.
