Obituary

Georgean Sarah Cecil, age 77, of Stanville, KY, widow of Hillard "Skeeter" Cecil, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Hazard ARH Hospital, Hazard, KY.  She was born June 23, 1944 in Floyd County, KY, a daughter of the late Jack & Rusha Fannin Sellards.

She is survived by one daughter; Rusha (Larry) Miles, Bardstown, KY three sons; Jackie (Trenia) Cecil, Stanville, KY, Hillard (Lana) Cecil, Georgetown, KY,  Dean (Karen) Cecil of Portland, TN, one brother; Jack Buford Sellards, Corbin,KY.

 Five grandchildren; Courtney (David) Cripe, Ali Cecil, Kristen Miles, Hannah Cecil, Layla Cecil, Two great grandchildren Madeleine, & Elizabeth Cripe.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; David E.Sellards & Edward Graham Sellards, four sisters; Sylvia Hall, Aileen Hall, Jewel Conn & Elsie Lykins.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Sonny Boyd, Jack Hunt & Jared Arnett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel KY, visitation will be after 5:00 PM Friday and all day Saturday, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
