Geneva Rae (Williamson) Ridener

Geneva Rae Ridener, age 85, of Wayland, widow of Fred Owen Ridener, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born August 21, 1935 in Marrowbone, KY, a daughter of the late Jeff and Tishie Belle Boyd Williamson.  She was a member of the Drift Pentecostal Church, a retired beautician, she was also a quilt maker and a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons; Walter Ray (Rachel) Ridener, Winchester  and Fred Owen Ridener Jr., Wayland, five grandchildren; Zakary Ridener, Jordan Ridener, Macy Ridener, Jeremy Hall and Jonathan Hall.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother; James Williamson and three sisters; Bertha Williamson, Martha Williamson and Gloria Faye Messer.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Shannon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
