Gary Wayne Tackett

Gary Wayne Tackett, age 64, of Paris, KY, husband of Angela Mary Prater Tackett, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 in the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY. He was born September 2, 1955 in Melvin, KY, a son of the late Oliver and Ettie little Tackett. He was a retired assistant store manager for Lowes.

In addition to his wife, Angela, he is survived by one son: Matthew Tackett, Weeksbury, KY, one step son; Justin Lee Hall, Melvin, KY, one step daughter; Brittany (Matt) Adkins, Elkhorn City, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Kenneth Dean Tackett and Vernon Tackett.

Funeral service for Gary Tackett will be conducted on Sunday, August 30 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Burke and the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Tackett Cemetery, Melvin, KY. Visitation is Saturday 5 – 10 PM at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
