Gary Lee Rice

Gary Lee Rice, age 74, of Teaberry, KY, husband of Donna L. Mitchell Rice, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at his residence.  He was born January 29, 1951 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Cecil and Leabell Stone Rice.  He was a retired coal miner.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter; Tina (Clay) Kelly, Harrodsburg, KY, one sister; Linda (Coy) Samons, Murray, KY, two grandsons; Hunter (Brooklynn) Kelly and Colton Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Ron, Tim and Bruce Rice, one sister; Brenda Kaye Campbell.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Moe officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
