Gary Dean Keathley

Gary Dean Keathley, age 67, of Betsy Layne, KY, husband of Sheila Renee Ross Keathley, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born December 8, 1955 in Floyd County, KY, a son of the late Tom and Martha Allen Keathley. He was a heavy equipment operator, and coal miner. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter; Angela Dawn (Dennis) Watson, Betsy Layne, KY, one brother; Larry (Darlene) Keathley, Ivel, KY, four sisters; Gerry (John) Hone, Valnermoso Springs, AL, Phyllis Layne and Glenna Kruse, both of Warsaw, IN and Daisy Allen Keathley, Eastern, KY, two grandchildren; Mackenzie Paige Watson and Gunner Ford Watson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Jimmy Joe Keathley and Palmer Keathley, two sisters; Rosie Adkins and Yvette Trimble.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is from 6 until 10 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
