Ernie Hall

Ernie Hall, age 81, of Dana, KY, husband of the late Edith Boyd Hall, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born February 9, 1939 in Honaker, KY, a son of the late Nelson and Lizzie Lawson Hall.  He was a retired coal miner spending over 40 years in the mines.

He is survived by two daughters; Kathy Hall and Nicalena Hall, both of Dana, KY, one brother; Kermit (Faye) Hall, Dana, KY and one sister; Lynn Dove, Martin, KY, three grandchildren; Crystal Gipson, Ashley Johnson and Derrick Tackett, four great grandchildren; Topaz Tackett, Andre Gipson, Alicyn Johnson and Bricyn Johnson.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; L.C., Clum and A.B. Hall, one sister; Bobby Rowe and two infant sisters.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 25, 2021 at 12 noon at the Little Salem Old Regular Baptist Church, Dana, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery, Justice Br., Dana, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
