Emma Case, age 78, of Dana, KY, widow of Ray Case, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born February 28, 1946 in Dana, KY, a daughter of the late Edward B. and Verlie Kidd Jarrell. She was a member of the Little Salem Old Regular Baptist Church and was a retired cook.
She is survived by one son; Kelly (Drema) Case, Banner, KY, three daughters; Debra (Timmy) Senters, Dana, KY, Donna Keathley, Betsy Layne, KY and Janet (Wendell) Lewis, Dana, KY, three brothers; Dennis Jarrell, Betsy Layne, KY, Jim Jarrell, Norwalk, OH and Kelly Jarrell, Lorain, OH, two sisters; Nellie Hall, Printer, KY and Stella Shultz, Heron, MI, seven grandchildren; Wesley Senters, Christopher Keathley, Craig Keathley, Kelli Lee, Shane Case, Jason Case and Tyler Lewis, 11 great grandchildren and her special dog; Maggie.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one grandson; Brandon Senters, two brothers; Charles and Wilford “Boots” Jarrell, three sisters; Maggie Wilcox, Ann and Lois Cummins.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Sammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Kidd Cemetery, Hunts Fork, Dana, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
