Elsie Adkins (Epling) age 86 passed away Thursday, September 3rd, 2020 at The Inn at Winchester Trails.
Preceded in death by husband Kenneth Adkins, parents William & Nellie Epling, brother Paul Epling and sister Gladys Dale. Elsie was a devoted and loving mother to Kenneth (Julie) Perkins. She is survived by sisters, Goldie Adkins, Eva May Keating, Ruth (James) Howell and brother John (Lorraine) Epling. Grandsons, David & Dustin, great granddaughter Kora, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friend Karen Osbourne.
Elsie was born and raised in Tram, Kentucky and eventually relocated to Central Ohio.
Elsie graduated from Columbus Community College with a degree in Nursing. She retired from Grant Medical Center where she was an “IV specialist”. Elsie was a special person who always showed compassion any generosity to her family, friends and people she met throughout her life. She “loved her animals” especially her dogs and cats she had over the years. She supported many charities geared toward animals, children and veterans.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Sunday, September 6th, at Hall Brothers Funeral Home, 331 Kentucky Rt. 122, in Martin, Kentucky. Website: www.hallfuneralservice.com
