Elizabeth "Kathy" Halbert

Elizabeth "Kathy" Halbert, age 78, of Langley, KY, wife of Hubert Eugene Halbert, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Our Lady of the Way-ARH Hospital, Martin, KY. She was born August 26, 1946 in Martin, KY, the daughter of the late George A. and Mosaleete Ferrell Patton.  She was a retired registered nurse.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons; Stephen (Audreyetta) Halbert, Prestonsburg, KY, Wes (Amy) Halbert, Martin, KY and Stuart "Bear" (Melissa) Halbert, Langley, KY, one daughter, Elizabeth (Lee) Tate, Langley, KY, two brothers; Paul (Brenda) Patton, Lancaster, KY and Jerry (Katherine) Patton, Prestonsburg, KY, 12 grandchildren; Elyssa, Tad, Evan, Dalton, Dillon, Jared, Hannah, Jannah, Hayden, Kayla, Tyler, Seth and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, July 21, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with Bob Varney officiating.  Burial will follow in the Patton Family Cemetery, Langley, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
