Elder Jerry Lee Manns

Elder Jerry Lee Manns, age 74, of Hueysville, KY, husband of Lenice Profitt Manns, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born December 30, 1948 in Lackey, KY, a son of the late Curtis and Lee Ester Slone Manns.

Jerry was the Moderator of the Antioch Regular Baptist Church, Betsy Layne, KY, a ministers for over 40 yrs, a US Army Veteran, a longtime basketball coach winning 3 State Championships with Garrett Christian Academy the school that he founded, he also helped with girls softball.

In addition to his wife, Lenice, he is survived by two sons; Bryan (Ashley) Manns and Ryan Manns, all of Hueysville, KY, two brothers; Clovis (Cheryl) Manns and Roy (Sandy) Manns, all of Hueysville, KY, one sister; Gladys Mae (Terry) Gibson, Richmond, KY, five grandchildren; Hannah Nicole Manns, Caleb Lee Manns, Lukas Ryan Manns, Kaden Joel Manns and Aurora Kiger, 1 nephew and 3 nieces.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers of the Antioch Regular Baptist officiating.  Burial will follow in the Manns Cemetery, Reed Br., Hueysville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday with church services at 6:30 pm both nights at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
