Eddie Doyle Lawson

Eddie Doyle Lawson, age 78, of Minnie, KY, husband of the late Sandi Lee Fife Lawson, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY.  He was born May 6, 1946 in Drift, KY, a son of the late Willie D. and Elsie Sue McCowan Lawson.  He attended the Allen Baptist Church, was a US Army Veteran and was a retired factory worker from Ford Motor Company.

He is survived by two brothers; Teddy Dean Lawson, Martin Co., KY and John D. (Charlotte) Lawson, Dobson, NC, one sister; Billie M. (Willis) Newsome, Ivel, KY, one granddaughter; Haiely (Mike) Vinsko and two great grandchildren; Edward Silas and Casheous Mitchell. 

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; Alan Dale, Lonnie D. and Thomas D. Lawson, two sisters; Janet Leigh Lawson and Nola Karen Lawson.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Chuck Hall officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, Price, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
