Drexel Hall

            Drexel Hall, age 77 of Ivel, KY, husband of Emogene Newsome Hall, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1947 in Grethel, KY a son of the late Curt and Goldie Tackett Hall. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Wheelwright Masonic Lodge, F&AM # 889.

            Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons: Roy Kidd, Ivel, KY and Dwayne Kidd, Grethel, KY; seven grandchildren: Dylan Kidd, Emily Hatfield, Kaitlin Castle, Hunter Kidd, Dalton Kidd,  Jenna Tackett and Jared Kidd; five great grandchildren: Bryson Kidd, Easton Kidd, Maverick Hatfield, Alora Tackett and Grantley Kidd. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

            In addition to his parents, Drexel was preceded in death by five brothers: Cotton, Donnie, Tony, Hershel and Gene Hall and one sister: Lois Gayle Newsome.

            Funeral service will be conducted Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the WJ Hall Cemetery, Grethel, KY and visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. Saturday and from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home.
