Draxie Dillon

Draxie Dillon, age 77, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Winston Dillon, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at The Lantern, Russell, KY.  She was born July 14, 1946 in Garrett, KY, a daughter of the late Elon Daniels and Della Bentley Daniels Snavley. She was baptized at the Little Paint Church of God, a former factory worker at US Shoe Factory and a Nurse Aid at Riverview Health Care Center.

She is survived by one daughter; Tammy (Roland Jr.) Gray, daughter-in-law; Teresa Dillon, grandchildren; Stephanie Wicker, Heather (Josh) Murdock, Cody, Corey & Lexie Dillon, great grandchildren; Grayson Wicker, Khloe Murdock, Karson Cotterman & Kaia Johnson, two sisters; JoAnn Gibson and Betty Bartley, special family friend; Rita Fleenor.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son; Winston Dillon Jr., four brothers; Elon Jr., Wade, George and Larry Daniels, two sisters; Maxie Marie and Mary Elizabeth.

Our Maw Dill, will be missed by family and friends who love her.

Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, entombment will follow, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
