Dorothy (Wright) Ratliff

Dorothy Wright Ratliff, age 77, of Prestonsburg, KY, wife of Terry Douglas Ratliff, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born October 17, 1943 in Dock, KY, a daughter of the late George S. and Susie Ousley Wright.  She attended the Old Regular Baptist Church and was a retired waitress.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son; Michael David Ratliff, Jackson, MI, one daughter; Terry Susan (Alan) Dixon, Jackson, MI, two brothers; Arthur Wright, Leslie, MI and Ronnie Wright, Onadaga, MI, one sister; Phyllis Wright Elliott, Prestonsburg, KY, five grandchildren; Joshua Prater, Samantha Stever, Chelsea Loker, Kyleigh Ratliff and Kristina Davis, 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers; James Earl, William Hager, Raben and Johnnie Wright.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Searcy officiating.  Visitation is from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
