Dorothy Lee (Hamilton) Meade

Dorothy Lee Meade, age 89, of Auburn, KY, formerly of Floyd County, widow of James Meade, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Logan Memorial Hospital, Auburn, KY.  She was born January 2, 1933 in Weeksbury, KY, a daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Elliott Hamilton.  She was a member of the Methodist Church and a former employee of the gift shop at McDowell ARH.

She is survived by two daughters; Joetta Dugan, Crothersville, IN and Anita Branham, Auburn, KY, one grandson; James (Stacy) Maxie, three great grandchildren; Darren James Maxie, Kamren Dane Maxie and Tyler Comer.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter; Anna Sue Meade and one brother; Charles Hamilton.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon Sunday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky, with graveside service and burial to follow at the Vance Cemetery, Beaver, KY.
