Doris June Lewis Hall, age 89, of Martin, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Riverview Healthcare Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born June 8, 1931 in Cedar Grove, WV, a daughter of the late George Washington and Reatha Hedrick Lewis. She was a member of the Cow Creek Freewill Baptist Church and a retired Nurse's Aide.
She is survived by two sons: Tommy (Sherry) Lewis, Hueysville, KY and George (Sherri) Lewis, Willard, OH, three daughters; Roberta Stephens, and Rebecca (Terry) Blanton, all of Paintsville, KY, Darlene (Tim) Richmond, Martin, KY, daughter-at-heart; Corena Scott, Greenwich, OH, thirteen grandchildren; Jennifer, Jeffery, Kelly, Richard, Louquida, Rhonda, Bridgette, Randall, Crystal, Barrett, James, Natasha and Erica, 21 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband; Thomas Lewis Jr., second husband; Elzie B. Hall, two sons-in-law; Darrell Stephens and Danny Stephens, two brothers; Ross and Eugene Lewis, four sisters; Wilma Lewis, Helen Lewis, Lou Hayes and Carolyn Cole and one granddaughter; Joy.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the funeral home, with service Thursday evening at 7 p.m., under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
