Donnie Tackett

Donald "Donnie" Ray Tackett, Jr., age 54 of Pikeville, KY, husband of Lisa Noe Tackett, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. He was born June 29, 1965, in Wyandotte, MI, a son of Rosena Burton Tackett, Grethel, KY and her late husband Donald Ray "Bunker" Tackett.

He was a Special Procedures Technologist and former owner of Mingo-Pike Radiology. A member of The American Society of Radiologic Technologist, the KY Society of Radiologic Technologist and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. A member of the Wheelwright Masonic Lodge No. 889 F&AM and a member of the Vogel Day United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife Lisa and his mother; Rosena, he is survived by one son: Cory Isaac Tackett, one brother; Johnny Keith (Lula) Tackett, Stanville, KY, one sister; Vicky Renee (Tony) Ratliff, Harold, KY, niece; Rebecca (Wes) Horn, nephew; Benjamin (Kaitlyn) Tackett and great nephew; Carter Tackett.

He was preceded in death by his father and nephew, Joseph Ratliff.

Funeral service for "Donnie" will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 12 noon at Vogel Day United Methodist Church, Harold, KY with Dennis Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery, Grethel, KY. Visitation after 6 PM Thursday and all day Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY with a Masonic funeral Friday at 7 PM. Visitation 10 AM Saturday until time of service at the church.
