Donna Gay Newsome

Donna Gay Newsome, age 74, of Lexington, KY, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at her residence.  She was born July 12, 1948 in Hi Hat, KY, a daughter of the late Worlie and Dollie Reynolds Newsome.  She was a former loan officer with First Commonwealth Bank.

She is survived by one daughter; Chris Lee Thronsbery, Langley, KY, two brothers; Worlie (Lois) Newsome Jr. and Donald Ray (Linda) Newsome, all of Andrews, IN, three sisters; Linda (Tracy) Frasure, Blufton, IN, Glenda (James) Agonis, Jacksonville, FL and Dreama Kae Newsome, Huntington, IN, one brother-in-law; Art Gunn, Amelia Island, FL, two grandsons; Brandon Cody and Noah Jess Thornsberry, both of Lexington, KY.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister; Pamela Gunn.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Shannon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.

Serving all pallbearers will be; Brandon Cody Thornsberrry, Noah Jess Thornsberry, Tony Newsome, Teddy Frasure, Toby McClellen, Steve Frasure and Heath Newsome.
