Donald Lee Dillon

Donald Lee Dillon, age 80, of Prestonsburg, KY, husband of the late Chiquita Maria Whitaker Dillon, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his residence.  He was born February 22, 1944 in Allen, KY, a son of the late John and Flora Carr Dillon.  He was a member of the Bonanza Freewill Baptist Church and a retired coal miner.

He is survived by one son; Richard Dillon, Frankfort, KY, one daughter; Jamie (Darren) Lawson, Prestonsburg, KY, seven grandchildren; Madison Lawson, Eric, Phillip, Jacob, Ian, Maia and Lillie Dillon.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; John Earl, Winston and Joe Dillon, two sisters; Wanda Sue George and Shirley Maynard.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
