Dicie Ellen (Burchett) Hunt

Dicie Ellen Hunt, age 76, of Banner, KY, widow of Junior Hunt, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born November 21, 1943 in Prestonsburg, KY, a daughter of the late John R. and Susan Gillespie Burchett.  She was a Christian and a homemaker.

She is survived by her children; Ruth Alice (Teddy) Kidd, Brenda Kay (Jack) Lewis, Loretta Jean (Greg) Wallen, Ricky Dean (Kim) Hunt, Jacqueline (Melvin) Lewis, Onnie Wheeler Hunt, Crystal Gail Brown and Savannah Gail Brown, in-laws; Chris Hunt and Susan Rose, nephew; Daniel Boone Boyd, brother; Jack Burchett, 28 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her children; Joseph Hunt Jr., and Phillip Dean Hunt, two brothers; Flem and Pete Burchett, three sisters; Anna Mae Burchett, Bessie Boyd and Gustava Sword.

Funeral services will be Private and burial will follow in the Crum Cemetery, Banner, KY.
