Dianna (Tackett) Meade

Dianna Tackett Meade, age 76, of Pikeville, KY, wife of the late Muncie Meade Jr., passed away Friday, February 2024 at her residence.  She was born September 25, 1947 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Hatler and Myrtle Osborne Tackett.  She attended the Piso Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired coal operator.

She is survived by her daughter; Gwen Arnett (Billy Joe), Pikeville, KY, two brothers; James (Juanita) Tackett, Beaver, KY and Gary (Emma) Tackett, Grethel, KY, three sisters; Alma Tackett, Beaver, KY, Betty Sue Brown, Melvin, KY and Rosa (Connie) Stone, of TN seven grandchildren; Brandi Meade (Daniel) Brooks, Dianna DeLynn Jones, Lyndon Blake (Lakeyn) Meade, Bill Thomas (Micca) Jones, Gary Tyler Arnett, Elizabeth Rose Jones and Sasha Lynn (Kory) Jones, four great grandchildren; Sophia Diesel, Kolson and Lynlee.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter; Connie Lynn Jones, one brother; Zadis Tackett and one sister; Nina Hall.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
