Diane (Prater) Watts

Delanna Lynn "Diane" Watts, age 74 of Hueysville, KY, wife of Jerry Watts, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.  She was born October 18, 1951 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Temp and Helen Cooley Prater.  She was a former secretary for Columbia Gas and was currently a Teacher Aide at May Valley Elementary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter; Gina (Harrison Jr.) Horn, Van Lear, KY and one sister; Erma (Dennis) Jackson, Hueysville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Jeri Lynn Watts, three brothers; Darwin, Walker and Gene Randell Prater, one sister; Loretta Frasure.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Chester Ray Varney officiating.  Burial will follow in the John Wess Prater Cemetery, Prater Fork, Hueysville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
