Dennis Edward Mayo

Dennis Edward Mayo, age 78, of Martin, KY, widower of Nancy Reynolds Mayo, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at his residence.  He was born December 23, 1944 in Maytown, KY, a son of Wilma Webb Mayo, Martin, KY and the late Billy Mayo.  He was a retired brakeman for CSX and a US Army Vietnam War Veteran.

In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons; Patrick Todd Mayo, Auxier, KY and Dennis (Samantha) Mayo II, Orlando, FL, one daughter; Beverly Dawn Mayo (Milton) Stumbo, Lakeland, FL, one brother; William David (Sharon) Mayo, Knoxville, TN, two sisters; Brenda (Robert Eugene) Barnett and Mary Sue (Fred) Kerestery, all of Lexington, KY, one grandson; Christopher Bryce Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his wife and father.

Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation is after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.  Military Honors will be conducted at 1 p.m.
