Delores Flanery Dingus, age 83, of Martin, KY, widow of Charles "Crush" Dingus, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the McDowell ARH, McDowell, KY. She was born September 13, 1938 in Martin, KY, the daughter of the late Hallie and Elizabeth DeRossett Flanery. She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Eastern Star, a Shriner's Lady, member of Hillbilly Clan 31 Outhouse #2, a member of the Kentucky Association of County Government, a Finance officer for Floyd County, a member of the Floyd County Democrat Women's Association, she worked in the Governors Office.
She is survived by three sons; Kris Douglas Dingus and Jobie Michael Click, both of Martin, KY, Brian Keith (Annie) Click, Ashland, KY, three daughters; DeAnna Faye Dingus (Josh) Hamilton and Mary Click (Tony) Reynolds all of Martin, KY and Belinda Click Jarrell, Dana, KY, one brother; Rabon (Judy) Flanery, Martin, KY, eight grandchildren; Christopher Jordan, Kayla Madison, Cody Jared, Justin Kane, Megan Brianne, Holly Elizabeth, Tony Prestan and Kelsi Renay, seven great grandchildren and two special great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
