Delbert Stephens, age 80, of Langley, KY, husband of Elizabeth Bentley Stephens, passed away Tuesday, August 01, 2023 in the Our Lady of the Way ARH, Martin KY. He was born June 14, 1943 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Albert & Lakie Hamilton Stephens. He was a member of the Spurlock Church of Christ, a US Army veteran, and a retired coal miner.
In addition to his wife; Elizabeth, he is survived by one son: Dale Stephens, Langley, KY, two daughters: Connie Turner, Lenoir, NC, & Sonya (Derek) McGarey, Eastern, KY, two sisters: Barbara Parsons, Eastern, KY, & Bernice Westfall, Pikeville, KY, six grandchildren: Stetson, Kaytlynn, Ryan, Kelsey, Andrew, & Casey, two great-grandchildren: Jazmine & Riley
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters: Bonnie Stephens, Bossie Hall, Peggy Bentley, & Betty Humble.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 05, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Stephens Family Cemetery, Wilson Creek, Langley, KY. Visitation is after 6:00 p.m. Thursday & after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY
