Deborah Kay Hunter, age 61, of Martin, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Norton Women's and Children's Hospital, Louisville, KY. She was born May 17, 1959 in Paintsville, KY, a daughter of the late Everette and Sadie Sturgill Hunter. She was a member of Graceway United Methodist Church and previously employed by Care-A-Lot Play Center in Martin for many years.
She is survived by one brother: Ron Hunter, two sisters; Darlene (Bill) Hughes and Trudy (Edward) Gabbard, all of Martin, KY, six nieces and nephews; Lynn Case, Sam Hughes, Laken Winans, Meagan Smith, Chris Hunter, Carl Everett Little, six great nieces and nephews; Shauna Harlow, Lily Winans, Emery Winans, Junior Little, Conor Little, Halldyn Hunter and two great-great nephews; Paxton and Quinn Harlow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Joy Ousley and one great nephew; Jordan Hughes.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, January 14 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice Cemetery, Martin, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Tuesday and all day Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home
