Deborah Lynn Phillips Bradley, age 66, bona fide cornbread-maker and materfamilias of the Bradley household in Stanville, passed away from this life on January 14, 2022, at her residence up Mare Creek.
A retired elementary schoolteacher, Mrs. Bradley spent a blue fortune making sure the children of Floyd County had a pencil in hand and an aesthetically pleasing learning environment.
Endowed with the gift of gab, Debbie Bradley could captivate any audience with her masterful storytelling capabilities.
From the time she was 14 years old, Debbie played the piano for her church, where she developed a style best described as “Jerry Lee Lewis meets Jesus.” Debbie was a devout Christian and a member of Boldman Freewill Baptist Church, then later, New Beginnings Fellowship Church.
Debbie is survived by her first love and husband of 47 years, Johnny, as well as her two daughters; Breann and Brandis, two granddaughters; Lakynn and Ryleigh, and four grandpups; Baby Brother, Britney Jean, Roxanne, and Bear.
Debbie is also survived by her mother, Bobbie Phillips, and two sisters; Sandi Brooks and Karen Harvey.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Phillips, along with her furchild, Chelly Lynn Bradley, and her grandpup, Trubby Dawn Thomas.
In addition to her loved ones, Debbie is survived by a collection of Dooney & Bourke handbags, for which her debt to QVC will never be paid in full.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY.
