David Lee Spencer

David Lee Spencer, age 68, of Martin, KY husband of Connie Faye Combs Spencer, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Martin, KY. He was born August 13, 1956 in Paintsville, KY a son of the late George and Mildred Davis Spencer. David was a retired Funeral Director and Embalmer, a Navy Veteran and member of the James W. Alley Masonic Lodge, Wayland, KY.

  He is survived by one son, Drake (Faith) Spencer, Martin, two daughters; Mashayla Paige Spencer and Alexis Hope Spencer, both of Martin, one brother; Stevie Spencer, Paintsville, KY, four sisters; Janice (Jim) Houston, Hager Hill, KY, Dianna Barnes, Winchester, KY,  Beatrice (Larry) Sergent, Paintsville, KY, Penny Fairchild, Paintsville, KY,  two grandchildren; Ashton David Newsome and Aiden Lee Newsome, and special friend & brother; Jerry Watkins, Garrett, KY.  And a host of family and friends. 

  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Mitchell Spencer, one daughter; Shanean Leigh Spencer, baby Spencer, three brothers; Ed, George and Frankie Spencer, and one sister; Sue Hitchcock.

  Funeral service for David Lee Spencer will be conducted Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Thursday, and after 12 noon Friday with Masonic Service at 7 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home.
