David Burruss

David Allen Burruss, age 69, of Lexington, KY, husband of Etta Marrea Nuckles, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at his residence.  He was born October 9, 1955 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late Archie Eli and Alma Conley Burruss.  He was a member of the Prestonsburg Church of Christ and retired from Car Quest and Speedway.

He is survived by his wife; Etta Marrea, three brothers; Archie Burruss Jr., Auxier, KY, Gary "Randy" Burruss, Prestonsburg, KY and Steve (Rita) Conley, Claypool, IN, a host of other family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Shawn Slone officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
