David Arnold Hunter

David Arnold Hunter, age 77, of Honaker, husband of Charlene Parsons Hunter, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at his residence.  He was born May 17, 1943 in Blue Moon, KY, a son of the late Arnold and Dixie Mae Hatfield Hall Hunter.  He was a member of the Church of Christ, a retired coal miner having worked underground and drove a rock truck at the strip mines.

He is survived by his wife; Charlene, daughter; Kimberly (Eugene) McKinney, granddaughter; Megan (Michael) McVey, grandson; Jason (Brittany) McKinney, four great grandchildren; Landon Gage, Elijah Grant and Sadie Grace McKinney and Olivia Jewell McVey, three brothers; Roy "Bud" Hunter, Eurmel Hunter and Tracy Hunter, two sisters; Mildred Kay Parsons and Jessie Mae Keen.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Phillip Stanley Hunter and one sister; Carolyn Jo Clark.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Church of Christ Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 2 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home.
