Darcus (Howard) Shepherd

      Darcus Shepherd, age 64, of Gunlock, KY, wife of Larry Shepherd, died Friday, June 20, 2025 at her residence, She was born August 8, 1960 in Martin, KY a daughter of the late Cledith Howard and Nadine Gamble Howard, Hueysville, KY. Darcus was a retired beautician and insurance agent, and attended the Brushy Fork Baptist Church.

     In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by one brother, Cledith (Tonya) Howard, and three sisters; Delores (Glen) Slone, Sherry (Steve) Howard, and Teresa (Clayton) Ramey, all of Hueysville, KY.

    Additionally, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry Brandon Shepherd.

    Funeral service for Darcus Shepherd will be conducted Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Doug Wireman officiating. Burial will follow in the Shepherd Family Cemetery, Gunlock, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
