Danny Lee Brown

Danny Lee Brown, age 73 of Hi Hat, KY, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born March 27, 1946 in Price, KY, a son of the late Clifford and Shirley Osborne Brown. He was a factory worker for American Standard and a U.S. Army Veteran, with a time of service from November 1969 through July 1971, serving in the Republic of Vietnam from July 1970 until July 1971.

He is survived by his fiancée, Darlena Wright, one daughter: Tammy Brown (James) Meade, Minnie, KY, children at heart; Cris and Gary Howell, Mis and Michael Jervis all of McDowell, two brothers; Clennon Ray Brown, Lexington, KY, Clarence "Dude" Brown, Bowling Green, KY, two sisters; Peggy "Susie" Coburn, Ashland, KY, Jan Browning, Bowling Green, KY, two grandchildren; Brita and Kerry Meade; two grandchildren at heart, Kobe Akers & Braden Howell, two great grandchildren; McKenna and Asher Brigmon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, Hi Hat, KY. Visitation after 6 PM Wednesday and all day Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
