Dale Crum

Randall Dale “Bert” Crum, age 48, of Morehead, KY, formerly of Allen, KY, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.  He was born November 15, 1974 in Pikeville, KY, a son of Shirley Faye Ousley Francis, Morehead, KY and the late Randy Crum.

He was a diesel mechanic specialist working for Cummings Engines, a member of the East Point Masonic Lodge No. 657 F&AM, he loved playing guitar, singing and writing music.  He wrote the song “Handle on You” that’s a Top 10 Country Hit for Parker McCollum.

In addition to his mother; he is survived by one sister; Kristin Douglas, Morehead, KY, special sister; Whitney Ousley, three special brothers; HD Blackburn, John Moore and Chris Fannin, special nephew; Kristopher Douglas, special niece; Raelynn Duong, step mother; JoAnn Crum and step sister; Trish Click.

Celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 12 until 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
