Coyette Lawson

Coyette Lawson, age 79, of Honaker, KY, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born October 22, 1944 in Honaker, KY, a daughter of the late Columbus and Oma Martin Lawson.  She was a member of the Harold Church of Christ and a retired school teacher.

She is survived by; Christopher Ryan (Amanda) Lawson, whom she raised like a son, also numerous nieces and nephews and even more great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Roy Lawson, Okie "Burr" Lawson and Emmett Lawson, four sisters; Elizabeth Yates, Maudie Hill, Reba Lawson and Sheila Lawson.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY, with burial to follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
