Cornela Conn

Cornela Smiley Conn, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, KY, widow of W.B. Conn passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1933 in Dana, KY a daughter of the late Miller and Mary Edna Hall Smiley. She was a member of the Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons; Dexter (Dorothy) Conn, Dana, KY, Anthony (Leica) Conn, Banner, KY, Mickey (Sara) Conn, Lawrenceburg, KY; one son-in-law; Rocky Hamilton;  One sister: Louanna (Sue) Smiley Conn, eight grandchildren; Reggie Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton, Mindy Conway, Justin Conn, Steven Conn, James Austin Conn, Dalton Conn, Mickea Conn, and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Cornela was preceded in death by one daughter; Vivian Conn Hamilton; three brothers; Erman, Donald and Charles Floyd Smiley, five sisters; Lillian Smiley Akers, Sula Smiley;  Survelva Smiley, Eula Smiley Conn and Beulah Smiley Samons.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with the Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Akers Family Cemetery, Dana, KY. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 pm. Saturday and after 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm Sunday at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.
