Clyde "Buzzy" Tackett

            Clyde "Buzzy" Tackett, age 69 of Ivel, KY husband of Gwen Evelyn Clark Tackett, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born May 8, 1954 in Prestonsburg, KY a son of Gloria June Little Tackett Stephens (Ed Stewart), Crystal River, FL and the late Clyde Tackett.

            Along with his wife and mother, "Buzzy" is survived by one daughter: Brooke MaShay (Bradley Kenneth) Sorgi, Prospect, KY. two brothers: Greg (Sandy) Tackett, Stanville, KY, Steve (Theresa) Tackett, Winchester, KY and two grandchildren: Kendall Isabella Sorgi and Kylie Capri Sorgi.

            He was preceded in death by his father.

            Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 12 NOON in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY,  officiant Darrell Clark. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
