Clifford Jarrell

Clifford Jarrell, age 84, of Dana, KY, husband of the late Marcy Bell Jarrell, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born March 15, 1937 in Dana, a son of the late Bruce and Berta Boyd Jarrell.  He was a member of the Little Salem Old Regular Baptist Church, the UMWA and was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by four sons; Clifford (Wendy) Jarrell Jr., Dana, KY, Jim (Jordan) Bradley, Stanville, KY, Bruce Lee Jarrell, Ashalnd, KY and Brandon Jarrell, Minnie, KY, one daughter; Hollie Kidd, two brothers; Gary (Sharon) Jarrell and Troy (Liz) Jarrell, all of Dana, KY, two sisters; Margaret Boyette, Dana, KY and Uvon Fruciand, Spring Hill, FL, one son-in-law; James Bradley, nine grandchildren; Noah, Jamison, Jordan, Camron, Lexi, Brandon, Melia, Callie, Victoria, Eric, Sierra (Austin), Brittney and Michelle, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one son; Bruce Jarrell, one step son; Bobby McCallister, two brothers; James and Charles Jarrell, two sisters; Anna Rae Boyd and Lowana Bearden, one granddaughter; Danikki Bradley Harvey.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Little Salem Old Regular Baptist Church, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jarrell Family Cemetery, Sampson Br., Dana, KY, visitation is after 2 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
