Clayton Eugene Holland Sr.

   Clayton Eugene Holland Sr., age 86, of  Prestonsburg, KY, widower of Melissa Carol Blackburn Holland, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Prestonsburg. He was born September 3, 1932 in Prestonsburg a son of the late Jessie J. and Mollie Quintillia Manuel Holland. Clayton was a retired Mechanic for Martin County Coal.

   He is survived by two sons, Clayton Eugene (Pamela) Holland Jr., Prestonsburg, John Thomas Holland, East Point, KY, one brother; Cletus Holland, four grandchildren, Thalia Holland, Brad Bond, Olivia Morgan Salisbury, John Clayton Holland, and four great grandchldren; Avis, Quintillia and August Salisbury, Ryleigh Tate Bond.

   In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers,  Clifford and Paul Holland, and one sister; Geneva Prater.

   Funeral service for Clayton Eugene Holland will be conducted Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Middle Creek-Prestonsburg, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Visitation is from 6 until 9 PM Thursday at Hall Funeral Home.
