Clare Raven Day

Clare Raven Day, age 81, of Prestonsburg, KY, wife of Paul M. Day, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born May 22, 1943 in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of the late Henry and Claria Smith Raven.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Irene Cole Memorial and a retired Pharmacist.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, son; Tobin Barrett Wonn, (Kristen), Lexington, KY, daughter; Sally Wonn Taylor (Brad), Catlettsburg, KY, four grandchildren; Talbott Bradley Taylor (Sophia), Griffin James Taylor, Emma Barrett Wonn (Alex) and Margaret Clare Wonn (Kevin) and 2 great grandchildren on the way.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother; Timothy Raven. 

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, December 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Reed officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
