Christy Rae (Manns) Newsome

Christy Rae Manns Newsome, age 44, of Hueysville, KY, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born June 15, 1982 in Pikeville, KY to Clovis Ray and Cheryl V. Chaffins Manns. 

In addition to her parents she is survived by her significant other; Tommy Baldridge, Hueysville, KY, one son; Dalton Hunter Newsome, Hueysville, KY, two daughters; Hayley LaShea Newsome and Lesley Nicole Maynard, both of Hueysville, KY, one brother; James (Leigh Ann) Manns, Hueysville, KY, one grandson; Paxton Sexton.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Glen Spradlin, John Church and Deaner Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Manns Cemetery, Reed Br., Hueysville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
