Christine (Burress) Kidd

Christine Burress Kidd, age 81, of Catlettsburg, KY, widow of Raymond Kidd, died Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Kings Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, KY. She was born September 02, 1942 in Jellico, TN a daughter of the late James and Lucy "May" Jones Burress. She was a member of the McDowell First Baptist Church and a former beautician.

She is survived by one son; Brad (Marica) Kidd, East Point, KY, one daughter; Kellie (Stacy) Short, Catlettsburg, KY, two brothers; Joseph Burress, Drift, KY and John (Marsha) Burress, Jellico, TN, three sisters; Billie Jean (George) Johnston, Brooklyn, OH, Mary Magdeline Harjo, Jellico, TN and Roseanne Carpenter, Rochester, PA, four grandchildren; Austin Tyler Kidd, Cheyenne Kidd, Sierra Kidd and Jaden Little.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Horace, Jimmy Ray and Jerry Carl Burress.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Shawn Kidd officiating.  Burial will follow in the Veterans Cemetery NE, Grayson, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
