Christine (Conn) Bonar

      Christine Bonar, age 79, of  Dana, KY, widow of Henry Bonar, Jr., died Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born March 24, 1942 in Floyd County, KY a daughter of the late Travis

and Verna Mae Samons Conn. Christine was a homemaker and member of the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church.

      Christine is survived by three sons, Henry Luther Bonar III (Renee), Jeffrey Travis Bonar, Justin Bonar (Celsi), and one daughter; Rachel Sibbitt  (Erik), all of Ypsilanti, MI,  one brother, Dwayne Conn, Hindman, KY, two sisters; Barbara (Thomas) Hall, Martin, KY, Connie (Ray) Mathena, Springfield, OH, five grandchildren; Jessica, Liane, Cloe, Kaiden, Kameron,

and eight great grandchildren; Izayah, Faith, Maison, Layah, Lexi, Scott, Madden and Janessa.

       In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death  by one son, Scott Bonar, one brother; Danny Conn, and two sisters; Katherine Page and Dianna Conn.

        Funeral service for Christine Bonar will be conducted Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with the Freewill Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Conn Family Cemetery, Dana, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home.
