Charles Edward Mutzner, age 85, of Drift, KY, husband of Jo Elliott Mutzner, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1935 in Covington, OH, a son of the late Charles David and Ruth Josephine Bodenmiller Mutzner. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, a retired Boiler Operator of 27 years, a truck driver, a farmer, member of the McDowell First Baptist Church, D.A.V. Chapter 128 and the VFW Chapter 7387 Hazard Post.
He is survived by his wife, Jo, two daughters: Marilyn Elaine (David) Griffin, Piqua, OH, Lisa Leckey, Sidney, OH, one step son; Don Lenz, Floyds Knobs, IN, two step daughters; Catherine Neely, Louisville, KY, Kristen Elliott, Pikeville, KY, one brother; Ralph Emerson Mutzner and one sister; Mary Louise Mills both of Piqua, OH, four grandchildren; Mandy (Shane) Hinkle, Kimberly (Ian) Supinger, Sara and Dalton Leckey, five step grandchildren; Adrian Neely, Dustin Tussey, Ryan Lenz, Emily Howlett, Katie McCoy, four great grandchildren; Paige, Drew and Landrey Hinkle and Oliver Supinger, five step great grandchildren; Brayden Hall, Anita Castle, Sophia Salisbury, Arrabella Neely & Addison Howlett.
Funeral service for Mr. Charles Mutzner will be conducted at 11 am on Sunday, November 1 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY. Visitation is 5 pm - 10 pm both Friday and Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.
