Charles David Hall, age 85 of Hippo, KY, husband of Betty Jean Stiltner Hall, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. He was born October 25, 1935 in Dema, KY, a son of the late Bert Hall and Margaret Layne Hall Cook. He was a coal miner and member of the Providence Old Regular Baptist Church since May 3, 2003.
In addition to his wife Betty Jean, he is survived by one daughter: Debra (Matt) Prophit, Indian Lake Estates, FL, two brothers; James Cluett (Shirlene) Hall, Topmost, KY, Arnold Ray (Jewel) Hall, Lebanon, TN, one sister; Rexine (Mont) Campbell, Prestonsburg, KY, two grandchildren; Christopher David Anderson & Kimberly Dawn Anderson, four great grandchildren; Cody, Ellie and Savannah Anderson, Wade Cook and special nephew he loved as his own; James Randall Hall "Bo".
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Clarence Daniel (Dorothy) Hall, Bert Hall, Jr., one sister; Inis Hall.
Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Hall Cemetery, Topmost, KY. Visitation is after 6:00 p.m. Friday with church service at 7:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
