Carol Lyons Obituary

Carol Sue Lyons, age 75, of Stanton, KY, wife of William J. Lyons, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY.  She was born November 3, 1946 in Beaver, KY, a daughter of the late Marcum and Gilvia Lee Martin Reynolds.  She was a retired bookkeeper and manager from The Bank Josephine and Montgomery Bank and Trust.

 

 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Dawn Millette Lyons, Louisville, KY and Denise Lyons (Wes) Rainey, Ocean Springs, MS, two brothers; Ricky (Linda) Reynolds, Betsy Layne, KY and Jimmy Joe (Libby) Reynolds, Allen, KY, one sister; Laura Frances Wilson, Stanton, KY, three grandchildren; Ashton, Addison and Bryce Rainey.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Johnny Reynolds and one sister; Dolores Smith.

 

Pallbearers for the funeral service will be: Jim Reynolds, Rick Reynolds, Shannon Reynolds, Joe Reynolds Jr., Bill Smith Jr., and Wes Rainey.

 

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Webb officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
