Burbon Gene Thompson

Burbon Gene Thompson, age 85, of Whitleyville, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Celina Health and Rehab center in Celina, Tn. He was born, November 19, 1934, in Amba, KY, a son of the late Ballard and Josephine Adkins Thompson, Burbon was a brakeman and conductor for CSX Transportation.

He is survived by his sons; Michael (Beverly), Terry, Tommy & Ronnie Thompson; one daughter, Christi L. Thompson, one brother, Earl Thompson, 5 grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Delmar and James Thompson, and 3 sisters, Kathryn Adkins, Maggie Turner & Bernice Thompson

Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 3pm in the Hall Funeral Home chapel with Ernie Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in Martin, Ky. Visitation will begin at 3pm, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home.
